Art jewelry inspired by The Met collection.
This jewelry celebrates the natural wonders in a 19th-century Chinese album from The Met’s Asian Art collection. This series of seven peaceful paintings by the artist Yi Zhai (Chinese; Qing dynasty, 1644–1911) depicts birds and insects with various blooms. These delicate earrings pay homage to a leaf from the album in which bees buzz around a little bird perched on a fruit-bearing branch.
