Equal parts elegant and functional, this golden pendant magnifying at 2x power recalls a bronze magnifying glass (ca. 1905–20) designed by Louis Comfort Tiffany (American, 1848–1933) and realized by Tiffany Studios (1902–32). The original piece in The Met collection was likely part of a matching desk set.
